Encouraging and refreshing cross-cultural workers and releasing worship in the nations that will echo through eternity
The aim of Refresh and Resound International is to offer hope and encouragement, while imparting strength and energy, to cross-cultural workers. We seek to establish long-term relationships with cross-cultural workers and their organizations to learn from one another and build each other up in love.
We believe that in the presence of God atmospheres shift, both in the hearts of sons and daughters of God, and in geographical regions. Our desire is to see cross-cultural workers “partner with God” instead of “working for God”. It has been our experience that those who learn to partner with God begin to move from a place of rest and delight, even in the midst of the most difficult circumstances. Often times, those who move from a position of working for God end up striving, depressed, and in a place of complete burn-out. It’s only when we are vitally connected to the Vine that we are sustainable for the long haul. It is our mission to partner with cross-cultural workers to help them become so deeply assured of their identity as sons and daughters that they remain healthy in spirit, soul and body. It is our deepest desire that they are able to operate with great joy until the Good News of Jesus has reached every tribe, tongue and nation.
The outworking of Refresh and Resound International takes on many forms. We facilitate retreat events for INGO’s as well as RRI sponsored retreats in different regions, primarily for those working among the unreached. We also provide worship and prayer teams for international conferences, releasing the sounds of heaven to break up the fallow ground, and allow those on the field to plant, water and harvest. We have facilitated worship in countries among many different organizations, cultural contexts and denominational backgrounds. Our highly trained partners can provide formal debriefs for individuals, as well as facilitate inner healing prayer models. We believe that change happens through relationship both with God and others. At times, we simply visit cross-cultural workers in their homes, providing a listening ear and a safe place where they can share their hearts fully.
Kristi and her team have made such deep investments into our organization. Their professional excellence, generosity and deep spiritual maturity have made a lasting impact on our entire staff. Their sensitivity to work cross-culturally and across a wide spectrum of denominational backgrounds allowed for a tremendously wide cross section of participants to feel valued and encouraged. What we received from her team was more than a program, it was a Spirit ordained encounter made possible by such authentic hearts who live out the Gospel in tangible ways. I give Kristi and her team my highest recommendation and endorsement.
I recently organized a large, multifaceted conference and chain of events. It involved tons of logistics and challenges. Kristi and her team were not among those challenges - rather, they were a much-needed breath of fresh air and support to all. Their worship times, prayer sessions, Sunday service and retreat leadership were an immense blessing to all involved - from a wide variety of cultural and denominational backgrounds - focusing us on Christ in the midst of lots of heady and challenging discussions. They exuded a spirit of calmness and of honoring others. It was clear that their eyes were on Jesus and how He wanted to bless each life they encountered. I have no doubt that their consistent prayer support made an impact. Our topics often create controversy, but instead we experienced a sweet and real sense of unity - and have seen fruit come out of that in our work around the world. I am incredibly grateful to have Kristi and her team be a part of our conference and events. I cannot recommend or endorse them highly enough!
You have given us a protected time of worship, teaching and prayer; a safe space to let God in more and meet with Him. The balance of teaching, testimony, tools, worship and space worked really well. You didn’t just open up deep issues without showing a path ahead…..and for the in depth prayer, thank you so very much
Kristi has served Christ with me for well over 15 years as my praise and worship leader in Women of Excellence Ministries. Time and again I have witnessed that when she lifts her voice to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners, the atmosphere changes and invisible chains are broken! She is living proof that through the ministry of music and declarations, the lives of God's people are truly revived! I heartily endorse this woman and this ministry as one who carries the Father's heart. As she fills the atmosphere with sound, the love of God refreshes the hearers!
I have been very discouraged and disappointed by God in recent months because I have been asking big, hard questions and haven’t gotten answers. This makes me feel really abandoned by Him but as we talked about the little hopes, little dreams and letting God be part of the little parts of life, I realized through all these hard months God has been pouring out love by causing me to notice and rejoice in all the little, daily good gifts. Morning light, daily coffee, fall air, hot water – these things have brought me so much joy and this time allowed me to realize that the joy was a gift from God. I am not abandoned!.....
To see and hear women that are going through some challenges was so encouraging that I am not alone and the difficulties will pass, and joy will come. Just a reminder that we see the external life of a person and not the internal fights….it was so good for me to hear that. It is so true
It was a special “time out”, being able to sit and allow God’s Holy Spirit to minister to us, a place of trust, of quietness. It was a place where I wasn’t judged but encouraged and uplifted. The experiences and wisdom of the team are really helpful. Also we were given some tools to go home and use – these were great!
